Guitar Player Meetings

For novice, professional, and connoisseur alike, this is a friendly environment to listen, learn, and play for others. Meet the Houston guitar community today! We have an "open mike" session and GH guitar ensemble rehearsal where all are welcome to participate!

All meetings are at the Barfield residence from 2 PM to 4 PM

12/1 - Christmas party at Len's from 2 PM to 6 PM

• This year’s Christmas party will be a BYOB/potluck at the private residence of a board member. Feel free to bring your own bottle of wine/beer and an appetizer to share.  Water and iced tea will be provided

• We’ll have a mic and PA with amplification set up for those who want to perform, as we have several performers at all levels wanting to play of solos, duos, and ensembles, and room for more

• We’ll have some fun guitar ensemble music for those who want to participate in a guitar orchestra of easy sight read pieces

• There will be several spaces and time for people to socialize as well as enjoy the performances.
